WIAW (3): A typical day

Today I’m linking up with What I Ate Wednesday (WIAW), hosted by Jenn at Peas and Crayons.

WIAW isn’t about: Comparison, Judgement, Restriction, Guilt

It IS about: Celebrating that we all eat!

This is a snapshot of a typical day for me.  I know what I like to eat, what makes me feel good, and meets my nutritional goals.

Today I’m sharing my meals from this week Tuesday; a typical day.

Breakfast–it was a cold and snowy (Spring!) morning so I opted for a hot breakfast.

Bob’s Red Mill Oat Bran mixed with a scoop of Garden of Life DetoxiFiber, cinnamon, raisins, walnuts, and a banana.  

I also enjoyed a couple of cups of coffee.

A busy day of meetings meant a quick lunch at my desk.

Spinach and arugula mix, cherry tomatoes, cottage cheese, mushrooms.  

I followed that up with a KIT’s Organic Apricot Sesame Seed bar.

These were on sale at Whole Foods so I took the opportunity to buy a few flavors.  The verdict: Delicious!  Few ingredients, lots of flavor.  

I also enjoyed an Opal apple but forgot to take a picture.  If you see these at the store, try them!

Dinner was Southwestern Quinoa Cakes and roasted green beans.
